About Fiasconaro
That of the Fiasconaro family is a story that begins in the 1950s in Castelbuono, a small town in the Madonie Park in Sicily, and there it still remains. A story starting in 1953 by his father, Mario Fiasconaro, who over time built a thriving business in the field of pastry and catering from a small ice cream shop in the main square of the town.
The three brothers Fausto, Martino and Nicola, little more than children, helping out in their free time, began to learn the trade. In the nineties, with the generational change and the advent of children at the helm of the company, the leap in quality was made that transformed the Fiasconaro brand into a reality known outside the borders of the island.
The turning point comes from an intuition of Nicola, a talented master pastry chef, who chooses to interpret the most traditional dessert of Northern Italy, Panettone, in a Mediterranean key: a great success that changes the destiny of the company, which has not stopped growing ever since, while keeping loyal to itself.
The store in Castelbuono is today a destination for those who wish to taste Fiasconaro products and experience the new proposals. It is the place where it is possible to taste, all year round, the panettone, a typical dessert of the Milanese Christmas tradition, rethought and revisited in a Sicilian and Madonite key, with particular attention to the flavors of the land, the tradition and the respect for the times of nature.
